This is a very nice LED touch lamp. I replaced an incandescent touch lamp on my nightstand with this. It doesn't match the light output of a 40 watt incandescent bulb, however it still provides enough light for moving around a dark room and it only uses 2.5 watts at maximum output and puts out less heat as well. I haven't found an LED touch lamp anywhere else that's as reasonably priced as this one.
There is plenty of bright, white light for reading or performing any task. The lowest light setting (it has low, medium and high) doesn't seem particularly useful to me except for checking my clock in the middle of the night. Medium and high are brighter and better for me.
The touch sensor is small (it's located near the front of the base and is about 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch), so while trying to turn it on in pitch dark is sometimes hit or miss, you'll quickly find it and it will turn on. Lightly whack the base of the lamp a couple of times with the palm of your hand and you'll get it.
Unless you plan on plugging this into your computer, you'll need a USB power adapter this lamp didn't come with one. They can be found on a very popular auction site for 99 cents delivered. They're also available at most stores including this one, but you'll end up paying more.

I bought 2 of these and they showed up today, so far they are great and very happy with purchase.. They are bright and look great sitting on desk, for the price this was a very good buy! Only time will tell on quality, but so far so good!
