Not as bright as I expected from the reviews. It really isnt a whole lot brighter than the walmart 1 led auto sensing nightlights they sell.. certainly not 5x brighter with 5x the LEDS.

Its also annoying how they are just a tiny bit too bulky to use the plug below for a lot of items.. These dont have to be as bulky as they are.

I was a bit disappointed because the light because I expected to get the "jeweled" lens version when I bought it not realizing the manufacturer has two kinds! The part number for this "frosted" version is MLN-50WF-02 on the package.

With the frosted lens, brighter light shows through the cracks in the case. The lens obviously blocks a good amount of the light from coming through. The body is noticeably opaque and the whole case is lit.

The frosted lens is simply translucent plastic, a bit clearer than the rest of the case. For me, this cheapens the look of this light, and probably some of it's function too. I have posted a picture for you to review.

I am also disappointed by the size. Previous nite lights allow me to plug in something else in the socket. They do leave enough room in the socket for something with a straight cord, but nothing like itself or an AC adapter because this night light takes up more than "half it's space" on the wall socket.

For these reasons I am knocking off two stars from a potentially 5 star product. The light is brighter than I expected but not too harsh because of the truly warm color. The light sensor works great and I confirmed that the product consumes less energy when off.

After a few days in my living space I couldn't tolerate the cheap appearance. I have put one in the garage and one in the basement.

Definitely go for the model with the "Jeweled" Lens.

These night lights have been perfect. They are a good size, take up the space of only one socket, and give off just the right amount of light to find your way in the dark.

Put one of these in my kitchen area to provide some light at night to move around. Also put one in my garage for our outside cat who seems to find a way to get stuck in the garage regularly. Adequate light for the two locations, the light is sensitive to changes in the surroundings, and they allow other items to be plugged into the other outlet. Will report on duration in the future.

These night lights are not really a warm white, but more of a neutral white. I'd say they are between 3000K to 3500K, not 2700K which is typically what most people consider "warm". That being said, they are a much better color than the bluish cheap LEDs most other lights are made with. And even though they aren't truly "warm white", the neutral white is very nice too.

Regarding other comments stating these are not as bright as some single LED lights, that is probably a good thing. These lights don't seem very bright which probably means the LEDs aren't being fed too much current. I have read a lot about the other brands of LED lights dimming out over time, and these ones are likely to last longer. They are bright enough, however. Maybe as bright as an old school 4 watt night light.

The photocell works well, but the design of the case causes the other outlet to be partially blocked. Also, the case bleeds light, causing it to look a tad cheap.

All in all, they aren't perfect. I give them 5 stars just because they have a good white color, and with the LEDs apparently being under-driven, hopefully they will last longer than others do.
