Stay away from the George Kovacs track lighting system. (We bought this lighting in a different color, but with the same transformer.) The lighting looks very good, and it illuminates well, but the transformers have burned out repeatedly. They are expensive to replace, about $250 each, which is three-quarters of the cost of the entire kit. We have been through three transformers in four years. Now, we're tired of throwing good money after bad, and we're replacing the system.
Look around on the internet -many people complain about the same problem.

Used only about 6' of the total. Did not use 1 of the extentions but still turned out perfect and lovely. It was very easy to install (for my electrician). The lamps do heat up a little but thats nice especially since we are getting into winter.
