This is a great little flashlight. It's bright and durable. The top part has a rubber coating, which helps absorb impacts when I drop it. The shaft is made of seemingly heavy-duty plastic. The on/off toggle button is located on the base for easy one-hand operation no need to twist, and made of rubber. I've dropped this half a dozen times with no damage. I'll probably buy 1 or 2 more just to place around the house for emergencies.

I used to be a big fan of Mag Lights. I still like Mags, but this plastic is a lot warmer on cold nights when I have to walk the dogs and clean up after them. And I have dropped it a few times on asphalt and it wears well.

Great back up light to my full size streamlight. Fits in pocket, handy for daytime use (searches). Very bright for AA light. Long lasting batteries. Under 25yds, it is a much better option than my stinger that uses lithium batteries becuase I can rely on the battery life. Butt cap on/off/intermittent switch allows for tactical use, but not intended for long range.
