Works as well as the GE version and slightly less expensive. We don't know yet how long it will last.

I can't say that I know why these were chosen as the standard bulb in this building, but I can say that I scoured SF looking for them, and the only places that had them charged 10 times what they cost on Amazon. So they're very nicely priced on this site. BUT they also only last about 4 6 months a time. I've yet to find another bulb that fits our enclosures, but the other bulbs on the same circuit have lasted much longer, and in most cases have yet to blow. It may still be due to some issue with our building's power (it's an older referb), but you may want to bear this in mind when considering your options.

This bulb seems to work fine. We'll have to see how long it lasts. The pricing at Amazon was very competitive.
