Our condo association bought several of these lights a few months ago. They were easily installed where the previous light fixtures were that did not have back up battery. About two months after the installation, our building had a complete power failure at 4 am. My smoke detector was buzzing so I knew that there was no power and it woke me up. I looked outside to see if it was just my condo or the entire building. I could not tell that it was the entire building at first since the hallways were so lit up. I opened my front door and then I saw that all of the halls and stairwells were lit up with the back up emergency lighting. They definitely performed as they should have and I would recommend them.

good price and looks and operates as well as the exspensive models. we have these everywere at work. I have them in my house. I am going to order another one in a few mins to put by kitchen area. sure are nice when power goes out.
