These lights are pretty cool.

Pros: They worked and lasted even with a severe beating. I duct taped these things onto a golf cart that I used for 3 weeks. The solar power thing was taped on the roof. The lights magically knew to turn on at just about past dusk and lasted all night. They lived through rough golf cart riding, wind and rain.

Cons: takes a while to get the paper lanterns onto the plastic parts. And I think the light string must have developed some sort of short due to the bouncing around all the time because they blinked completely randomly. but they survived/worked!

The lanterns are pretty but the LED lights don't really work. I waited 2 days after the installation to turn on the light per instruction. When the lights came on at dark it was very dim and barely visible. I did return it, don't think it's worth the money.

Some of the lights did not work, when I received them and the company promptly replaced them, but with white lanterns instead of the colored ones I purchased. Very soon all the lights quit working and the lantern colors faded almost immediately. When I checked online later, the lights appeared to be unavailable. I accepted my substantial loss and the lights had to be trashed. I have seen these lights at retail stores, so beware!

I purchased two strings of similar lights from a local store and loved them, so bought three more to finish lighting my porch. I've been very disappointed in how these have functioned. I paid less and had to assemble them myself, which was fine by me. The glow of the lights is slightly blue, which is a little different from the others I bought (which are pure white glow) but that was no problem.

However, each night maybe 1 of the 3 strands I bought actually lights up, and I've tried several adjustments unsuccessfully. They're positioned exactly like the other lights I've bought which work with no problem. This late in the summer I'll probably just take down these three I bought as they're not doing any good.
