These are very bright red LEDs. But they are not 3.0-3.2 forward voltage components as stated in the seller's description. They are what appear to be a maximum of 2.2 volt LEDs. At 2.2vdc they will draw approximately 24ma, which seems typical of a red LED. At 3.0 volts they are pulling 140ma and will then almost immediately burn out / fail. At 3.2 volts, they instantly burn out with a bright flash of red. Not good! So, running them at 1.8 to 2.2 vdc and about 20ma sure looks like the correct specs. Sadly, I need some 3.0-3.2 volt red LEDs. Maybe they don't exist?
