I received my Firefly LED floor lamp two days ago and assembled it this morning. Assembly was really quick and completely intuitive, with the cord threaded through all of the pieces already, and all I needed to do was screw the various parts together. I plugged it in, flipped the switch, and voila! There was light!

I bought this lamp so that I would have a better reading light than my current floor lamp with a CFL bulb. I expect to tinker with the positioning of the five lights on my Firefly, but I can tell that this lamp will provide the light I want. Also, this is much closer to broad spectrum sunlight in color than either the CFL or, heaven forbid, incandescent light. It's a little jarring at first when you have full spectrum light indoors at night, but that's because we are all so used to yellow light (which is why it's hard to distinguish green from blue under artificial light).

And best of all, LEDs are so much more energy efficient, longer-lasting, and durable than other bulbs. I hope that we begin to see a greater variety of lamp designs optimized for LEDs.

At first I thought it looked cheap but after moving the lights around it looks awesome and really adds a personal touch to my living room. Much smaller than I expected.

I was hoping for a lamp like Ikea's LED lamps, but this one emits a light that is blue-ish instead. That being said, I like the way the many arms can be directed based on lighting needs.

My five year old floor lamp broke. So I decided to upgrade my floor lamp into a led one. This one seems to fit the bill. Not very expensive, bright enouth to light up a corner at my living room and comes with goose necks for the freedom to adjust the angle of the light. The only draw back is the light is kind of too sharp and focus for my. I only use one arm of the light as a reading light but it is still a little bit too sharp for my eyes. The relfection from the paper of my book is kind of too strong and stinging. I wish the light could be more subtle and soft. Anyway I decide to keep it.
