I am sorry to say ... but this product is pretty much useless. The emitted light is so dim that it can't be used for anything other than ambient lighting. Forget about using it as a reading light ....

I had to find a replacement bulb for my mom's favorite fiber optic lamp. All the small bulbs I could find created too much heat and I was concerned about warping parts and causing a fire. This little bulb worked perfect and uses less energy!

I purchased this miniture LED to replace a halogen unit in a submerged pond light. This was the second time the pond light had been replaced. By replacing it this time with an LED, I don't anticipate ever having to do it again--very nice. And the price is excellent for an LED unit.

I bought two of these lights to replace some burnt out 12V MR 8 bulbs lighting a walkway outside my house. The old metal fixtures were quite warm to the touch--now they are cool. The warm white color matches the originals well enough to not notice the difference unless your at looking for it and they are a bit brighter to boot. At the great price of just $3 I'm coming back to buy eight more and just replace them all proactively.
