Came within a few days of ordering. Easy to install and replace old halogen G4 12volt bulb. Much cooler (temperature-wise). Just as bright--a bit "bluer" but not bad on the eyes at all. Very nice, would purchase again!

I bought these to replace the 20w halogens in a Microwave hood.... it did a good job, but when you get them they are surprisingly large and have large components on the unlit side

Pro:

light is very similar to halogen, but whiter / hotter temp... halogen are usually 2950K, these are about 3200-3300 ... I prefer the true warm white 3000 bulbs but this did do the job

they are dimmable

I experienced no flickering

they are brighter than 20w halogens, I would say almost 30w

should last about 20 years at 8 hours a day

plugged in and fit no problem on a standard over the counter Kenmore / Whirlpool Microwave

Con:

LEDs don't change color like halogens, so as halogens get cooler / more yellow when dimmed, these stay exactly the same which feels a bit odd at first

when dimmed they don't have much of a step... halogens are like 100%, 60%, 30%

-, where these are 100%, 80%, 70%... so dimming doesn't have the same effect, may be a little bright for a night night

very large, may not fit in some devices.. bigger than a quarter... about half dollar size.... basically huge for a bulb...

overall I'm very pleased they are dimmable, are a halogen like color, have great brightness, and fit my microwave

LEDS are the only way to go in an RV with deep-cycle batteries. You can cut your battery use by up to 90% using these and other LED retrofits like these. I put these in the lamps over my stove, and they are slightly brighter than the incandescents they replace.

Nice bright light, a little on the yellowish side, but better than the bright (day light) white lights out there.
