Not as much light as I thought it would put out, and the magnet is recessed just enough that it doesn't hold onto the sewing machine like I thought it would. A little disappointed.

The idea of this lamp is good, and the compact size and flexiblity are good. Despite the description, however it is not close to "superbright." In late-afternoon daylight the light was noticeable but dim. Also, the magnet in the base becomes unglued almost immediately, leaving the magnet behind when you try to move the lamp. One of the two I ordered came with the magnet missing altogether.
