While the light works, and emits good light I'm not all that thrilled with the settings. The Strobe and the Flash settings are exactly the same, and neither are what I would expect. Both just cycle through all of the colors at the same intervals. I would expect that a strobe effect would be more like a strobe light (fast flashing light). Both the strobe and flash setting change through all of the colors at a slow pace.

I also see no difference in the dimmer function. The light doesn't seem to dim or brighten.

The biggest drawback is that the bulb could use some sort of diffuser. The light is more like a targeted spotlight than anything else. When a color like green is selected, you can see each individual color (blue+yellow) they aren't really blended.

For the price it isn't a bad buy, just not what I expected. I do like some of the colors, and it is certainly bright enough. I just wish I had only purchased one.

Are you kidding me? A regular light bulb at home depot with no shipping costs more than this. It works great too ! The remote will only turn on the light from perhaps 5 feet away, but other than that, I have no gripes. Go buy some ! I got three, just in case price jumps up.

This is a really cool product. The remote works well but only within about 6-8 feet and has to be pointed directly at the inside of the bulb. It's more of a spotlight than a wide-angle bulb so keep that in mind. Standard size so it'll fit in your "regular" lamps. The slow fade through all the colors is my favorite setting. Doesn't get hot at all.
