This unit came with my Emerson fan. Though bulky, it fit snugly within the switchbox on my wall with little room to spare for wiring. It's a nice looking switch with a main LED in the top left corner, and a scale of small LED's on the bottom right that show the fan intensity. Beats the old way of clicking many times and waiting to see how fast the fan runs. The buttons are spongy and made of rubbery material that feels nice but lacks a definite tactile "click". With the many buttons, it took a little while to get used to which switches did what. The only negative is that my first switch stopped working after 10 days. This is not a cheap switch so I was hesitant to replace it, but so far, it's been no trouble after the last 30 days.

Pros: Sleek, modern, stylish. Good quality feel. Mini-LED lights indicate fan intensity.

Cons: A bit pricey. Many buttons may confuse some people or guests. Questionable longevity: My first broke, maybe yours won't.

I purchased a Emerson fan and this wall control with it. This wall control functions perfectly with the fan I bought and gives me more convenient functionality than the previous on-off switch and pull chains. Excellent.

This works exactly as advertised. You can control the fan and light from a distance. Just to be clear, it is hardwired. Use with RCK55 Horseshoe Receiver.
