So, I couldn't find any LED nightlights with a photocell that had any chance of being better than these (based on features, reviews, and design). I LOVE having lights throughout my house now, but it would be great if Maxxima came out with an updated/improved version of these lights in the future.

Pros:

-Photocells work well, mine are sensitive (3 out of 4 anyway), and they're instant.

-Plenty of light (obviously, a matter of opinion... see "cons")

-Dirt cheap to run (even my wife doesn't freak out about the cost!!)

-Adjustable/ability to aim

Cons:

-They're HUGE, much larger than they need to be; they take up the whole outlet.

-They put out a LOT of light. I would rather they be half as bright personally. (A red LED option would be great to preserve night vision!)

I purchased this item wth the Maxxima MLN-10 LED Night Light with Sensor . Both are great and do the job but bright so do well wen hidden. The MLN-11 is so large it takes up the whole socket so I prefer the Maxxima MLN-10 LED Night Light with Sensor, whch is smaller. the extra light and direction features are not really worth it if are actually noticebly better.

These night lights were OK for about a month then they slowly lost brightness until they are just about burned out. I have had other LED night lights that have kept their brightness for years. Very poor quality.

Received these LED lights today. The sensor is not very good, unless it is in direct sunlight, it is on all the time. There were 4 in the package I received, but only 3 worked. 1 was DOA. This is junk. Go with a better LED night lite.

There are 4 night lights in the package. Each night light has 2 led bulbs. Upon opening the package 3 of 4l lights worked properly. The 4th only had 1 LED of the 2 working. I took out my multimeter and my soldering iron and remedied the poor workmanship. Not many would do that and would have either chosen to use as is with only 1 bulb working, returned it, or thrown it away.

I am pleased because they light well and look nice. Good design, nice package, excellent seller so I offer the risk of what happened to me and cost me a half hour to fix.
