Bought this for a party we were planning on putting it in a medium sized room not huge or high ceilings. The lights are like the size of a staple and reflected a few feet max. It totally sucked, enough to have me come straight to the computer to write this review. I suppose if you were in a bathroom it might look cool but this is really cheap and terrible.

Delicate cap at the top (holding the 3 arms together) was broken when I opened the package. I am returning this item.

This was purchased as a gift for my tween daughter. She wanted disco ball light in her room and I saw this one with the led lights. Knowing if she likes it, it will be on ALL THE TIME...was skeptical at first but is VERY impressed! This light is so awesome and it puts off perfect amount of lights for her 8x10 room..she keeps it on ALL THE TIME which can only mean one thing..she loves it :)
