There are metal and plastic parts combined. some of the metal parts, which are painted, arrived with small scratches here and there. However, these solar lights last a LONG time on the provided batteries, and my yard does not get much sunlight throughout the day. But the lights glow bright for weeks on end, without the batteries crapping out. The lights are very attractive and look great. The light glows a very welcoming amber glow. I love these a lot despite the paint on metal problem. I even went back a few months later and ordered a second set from Amazon to keep on hand for when these may need replacement down the road. Nothing lasts forever, especially when they're set up outdoors.

These are much brighter lighter then those i have purchased in past years. They look amazing, and the amber lighting is just perfect.

No problems with assembly(where required) and placement in the yard. The problem now is that we are approaching the winter solstice and sunshine is limited. It's even more so due to the location of our home. The lights will be stored over he winter and make their return as we approach springtime.

I find this to be a wonderful product. The lights are really gorgeous. The lights emit this lovely opal golden hue shines a gentle glow in the night air. I think Frank Lloyd Wright would be impressed. Everything was easily assembled and ready for set up. The product worked as expected. Good batteries and lights. The lights glowed even better than I expected.

I adore an amber light in my yard. White light is so harsh! This set is perfect to light the walkway and the flower beds! With an added bonus of the solar spotlight I've trained it to shine on my front door it's a lovely way to add light & style to your yard!
