I have a GE tall lamp I bought 10 yrs ago. This light fit it perfect and it was a great deal. I have had this bulb for 2 yrs now and it still works great!

I would NEVER CHOOSE to switch over to these purportedly energy-efficient lights. They have mercury in them and they are hard to find. They are "4-prong T6". You really can't use any other kind of light bulb if your fixtures are set up for them. These light bulbs were exactly what I had to get due to the fixtures having already been installed in my home. So GRATEFUL that Amazon had them. My kitchen & bathroom are once again ILLUMINATED!

They were a little slow in sending the item and when it came it was the wrong size but since I was able to make it fit I did not go through the hassle of sending it back for the right size. Otherwise it works just fine.

The two light bulbs worked very well, but I will have to wait five years to see if their advertised long lifetime is delivered. I won't know for years... but for now, they are great.
