We bought these for a camping trip and they worked great ... more light than we expected from an LED, and didn't realize that they also ship with batteries included, a nice bonus. Would definitely recommend these. But know that they're not a good "night-lite" unless you like a ton of light... it would great for lighting a family-size tent, and as a decent flashlight for short distances.

Has a hole in back similar to wall clocks for hanging it.

Despite being an Amazon customer for years, I have never written a review (positive or negative) until now. I am so frustrated with these lights do not waste your money. I bought two packages (a total of four lights) to be hung/used in two dark closets. All four lights worked great until the batteries they were packaged with ran out; three out of four of the lights we have will not work with fresh AA batteries. Both my husband and I tried multiple times with different brands of fresh AA batteries, rotating them among the three non-functioning lights to no avail. While the fourth light currently is working, I have no faith that when its batteries run out that it will continue to work. The lights are very cheaply made and poorly designed. Example: Both my husband and I observed that they have an extraneous "button" on the back (which is viewed when the back battery cover is removed); when the back cover is off the button can toggle between "open and close" but when the back cover is replaced there is only one position it can be in "open," which makes no sense. Why would you want the back battery cover to a light to be "open" when the back cover is on? When the lights did work, they emitted a nice amount of white light and did help illuminate the dark corners of the closets; however, that doesn't really matter since they stopped working (we have had them for less than five moths). Bottom line: do not buy this product.

After many years of thinking of getting one of these, I finally did and I am thrilled.

I put mine in the hallway so that if I get up at night, I can walk around without having to turn on bright lights and wake myself up fully. It provides enough light to illuminate a 25' hallway, but not so much light that it's overwhelming.

I really like this light, it's decent quality, very easy to install and to operate. I plan on installing them in every dark corner of my home, and they're also great for safety if the power goes out, you can still have illumination.

I am pleased with this product.

My 2 and 4 year olds love these lights. They can turn them off and on in their beds to look at picture books. They are great for trips or camping. They are very durable. My kids stomp on them to turn them on and they still work great. They are brighter than normal night lights which is fine. They would also work nice mounted in a closet so that you don't have to turn on an overhead light and wake up a spouse.

I absolutely don't get it. Same experience. The lights work with the original batteries that shipped (they are almost done) but they won't work with new alkaline batteries??? I switched the batteries (original cheap brand vs. duracell alkaline) back and forth, and only the cheap original batteries work.

I just don't understand.
