Really nice, Only cons is the springs on the driver (head) and tail switch is weak. Which need reinforcements. Also needs non-flat top 26650s. Protected batteries would work really well in these. About twice as bright as my TR-3T6. OTF about 2000. Really good flood and lights up trees 60 feet away. A good range would be 200-400 feet for this light and then it tends to fall off.

The bad first: 1 the ON/OFF switch is very poorly located. 2 The construction quality is average. 3 There should be a focus ring. 4 Batteries compartment poorly designed and they should be included. 5 Why use 3 batteries? IMHO odd number for batteries is a real pain. So why did I gave it a 4 star? Because it is a very bright flashlight. It does really put out a great amount of lumens. Can't say exactly if it is 3000, 4000, 5000... but it is bright.

It is hard to beleive how bright this light is. It will leave spots in your eyes in broad daylight from 50 feet away. At night it looks as bright as a spotlight on a police car if not brighter. I like the fact that you can remove a section and battery to make it smaller. You will need the 26650 batteries if you want all of the features to work with only 2 batteries.

I think this flashlight has many advantages over a HID flashlight. The LEDs do not have to warm up(20 sec for HID), you have the flash and S.O.S. capability, and the LEDs last 100,000 hours vs 3,000 with HID. The beam on a HID is more concentrated than LED so it depends on your preference in that aspect.

**Update** I purchased another flashlight like this that is rated at 8500 lumen(7 LEDs instead of 5) and I cant see any difference. I do not think the Lumen ratings are real at all.

the product is good. the only thing is the battary, it doesnt last as long as i expected. once its low, i shuts off right away, leaving you in the dark, if you use this product make sure you carry a extra flashlight. because if you do what i do, you really count on your flashlight or you might get seriously hurt or your dead.

I also bought and received the same day a 1400 lumen bicycle light. Charged them both fully and Voila! the 4500 lumens is a little brighter than the 1400 lumen light, but not that much. I think they figure each cree bulb about 900 lumen, times 5 cree bulbs in the flashlight and you get about 4500. Even tho its not that much brighter, it IS still stinkin bright. 365 store was prompt in mailing it and recd it in a couple of days. Cops love bright flashlights for their night time work. A lot of cops work around where I work and I showed this to maybe 10 of them. They loved the power and brightness. So far I have not had problems.
