This ligth works extremly well and gives you a more naturally lighting. It lights up the entire tank with out any single dark area do to its wide spread. I had purchased a par38 bulb and it was more of a spot light and leaving tons of dark areas. This light also does not heat up your tank unlike most hologen and other fixtures do.
I have a 7g nano coral tank with 2 tiny lionfish. they are only less than an inch and a half so dont freak out. The coral is doing great and thriving well. I noticed great growth on my frogspawn, star polyps and mushrooms as well as ricordia and other polyps. This light is great.
Now for the CON. they do not have any blues. if this is the same one that comes with the nanos they offer which im assuming it is you will lack any blue hugh causing the corals to not look so colorful. trust me though they are absolutly healthy though. I am still in search of even a moon light that I can add to make it pop. but this is only minor.
I would rather have healthy coral with very little heat emmitting and full light coverage of tank.
update: After about a month and a half I had my light sitting close to the water for just slight better illumination. I have a bubbler in my nano to help break up the protein at the top. the bubbles would pop and the salth began to cover the light. everyday I woudl clean and wipe it off. The metal does not seem to hold up well what so ever and will rust quick and the connection clamps will turn grey creating a very bad connection. well the heat sink gel like substance between the rubber led pad (yes it is a rubber padding that has the tiny leds on them that sits on the heatsink and is attached to power by clips)and the metal connectore plate that the clips attach to for power had ran out over the light causing it to not only not work but looks like destroyed it as well as the rust and build up.
My advice is to make sure absolutly no water will bubble up or onto the light other wise it will be trash very quickly. I have dropped the rating by 1 star due to in an attempt to fix realized the construction is not made very well.

I researched a lot about which light to get for my planted nano aquarium. I decided to go with Eheim Power Led Full Spectrum. It is a bit pricey, but in the long run, it cost much less to run and maintain.I got to say, I am impressed by the intensity and the design. I love the clean look and how the height is adjustable. In addition, various parts of the Eheim product can be purchased directly from the Eheim website at if it should break down.
I would recommend this product if you are looking for a LED light replacement.
