We had been looking for a way to put some light onto our pergola and decided to give these a try. I was a bit concerned about the mixed reviews posted, but there were enough favorable comments to encourage me to try them out and we're so very glad that we did.

Installation was simple each of the lights had a velcro strap that allowed us to attach them to the cross members of our structure. The keyhole openings on the solar panel base made that equally easy to hang. I used some plastic cable ties to affix the on/off button onto the lattice on the one side of our pergola.

The lights are arranged in one long string, with about 10 feet or so between lights. Our structure is pretty large, so we ended up putting one on the one end, one near the center of the back beam, and then two along the other side. We pointed the lights straight down to provide lighting below and around the sail that's hung below the roof rafters, and the outcome was absolutely perfect!

These lights cast a white glow, not harsh at all, and the four of them provide enough light for conversation on our 12' x 14' pergola covered patio. The on/off switch is handy since we don't necessarily want them on every evening, although we're enjoying our patio more than ever since we installed the lights.

100% satisfied! And I'd recommend them to anyone who's looking for a solar lighting solution for a patio.

I was a bit apprehensive when deciding whether or not to purchase these lights. Some of the other reviews made me nervous about the quality and the price made me think that they might be accurate, but I decided to try them anyway, given the much higher prices offered by the competition. I needed some small lights that could provide light in and around my small barn, so that my goats would be able to see better in the evening. The lights arrived quickly and in excellent condition, the packaging was adequate for protecting them. The lights and the small solar panel were easy to install, you have the choice of using the Velcro straps provided, or using screws for a more permanent application. I screwed the lights into my barn and applied the solar panel to the roof with relative ease. The lights are all on one strand of thin wire that was between 20 and 30 feet long, which was more than adequate for my needs. I made sure that I did the installation early in the morning so that the panel would be able to charge all day in the sun. Come evening, the lights worked perfectly and were a great brightness for what we needed. The lights are 6-lumen LED's, so if you're expecting tons of illumination then these lights probably won't be your best solution. If you just need some mood lighting or low-level illumination then these lights will probably suit you well. For the price I am more than pleased. It has been about 3 weeks now and the lights continue to do what they are supposed to do.

They provide enough light to create a nice night time atmosphere in the gazebo. They are always still lit even when we have stayed up to 3 am.

Very dim lighting. Barely any light at all, actually. These "lights" should be used more in a decorative way. I also wish the wires were longer. Was given as a gift for someone (how embarrassing!!) and the receivers do not want to return it because they feel it would be rude on their part! In addition, the solar panel was poorly designed and made quite cheaply--along with the housing to the light fixtures. very cheaply made product, unfortunately. Someone could have done a better job creating this!

These little lights work great! They aren't flood lights, so don't purchase them for that. They are wonderful accent lights for your house or yard. I'm still trying to find the best place to put these as there are so many areas I can use. I'll probably have to buy more. :) Delivery was on time, no delays. Everything was perfect.
