This is a pin point light I use it for reading by it absolutely does not keep anyone else awake. I often keep it on during the night.

I wanted an inexpensive led lamp for near the bed. this works fine and doesn't heat up. it's a little top heavy so you need to put it in a solid flat place. it has a floor switch attached to the cord. the light is focused enough so it wouldn't bother another sleeper too much.
No reason why it shouldn't last a good long time.

Nice, flexible lamp for very direct light. Foot switch is good when standing but when reading with light next to bed it means positiong foot switch where you can simply push with the finger. Maybe I am missing how to turn off otherwise?
Well made and designed for the cost and removed normal bedside lamp where light directed up and out and took space on table.

Since IKEA won't ship this and the closest store is 2.5 hrs away I bought from a distributor. Had to pay a roughly $20 premium but offset by not having to drive. The lamp itself works well for a bedside reading lamp. Thin and unobtrusive it doesn't stand out.

I bought two of these and use them on either side of the bed as reading lights. The neck is flexible and bends any way that you need it to shed light on your reading material. Only problem is that it is all one piece --the bulbs are not replaceble, so when they (eventually) burn out, I'll have to buy a new lamp --which I will happily do !!
