Needed lights under cabinets for a newly built home. We forgot to have it done when being built, so we did this instead. Happy to say they are better and less expensive than what the electrician's would of supplied...

I had flashlights and lanterns during a 4 day blackout from Tropical Storm Sandy. This little light was the best. It lights up a room so you can easily get around. It must run at least 48 hours on a set of batteries since I only went through one set during the blackout. This one I got at Target, but will ordering a couple more from Amazon.Best Deals for Energizer ECABL3AA Design Under-Cabinet Light
This light works great under my kitchen sink inside the cabinet. It mounted easily and gives off enough light so I can see my cleaning products under the sink with ease.Honest reviews on Energizer ECABL3AA Design Under-Cabinet Light
The light works great, with good even light and easy push/push button operation. The magnetic mount leaves a little bit to be desired, because when you mount the steel plate, it warps ever so slightly, reducing its magnetic holding power. The magnet mount just wouldn't work on my uneven camper shell frame. Perhaps a smooth wood cabinet would work better. There is absolutely no way to screw-mount this light; I took it apart and looked to see where I could drill holes, and it just wasn't to be. I ended up using industrial adhesive velcro to mount the light, and that takes up the unevenness and works just fine.A nice touch in this respect is that the batteries come out one end, so I don't have to remove the adhesive velcro to change batts.
I don't have any info on battery life, but judging from other LED experience, it will be in 10's of hours. The batteries in my seldom-used LED lights rarely get used up, they typically leak first.
