Put 5 in a track 4 months ago. Recently they started flickering. I contacted tech support and they said that there is a dimmer switch or transformer that is not "Compatible" with their product.
The problem with their statement-
1. They are not on a dimmer at all
2. Running 120v there is no transformer like some 12v tracks.
3. They worked fine for a couple months, problem started recently
Loved them at first for 4w with plenty of light over workspace but at $20 plus a bulb and a 4-5 year breakeven point I am frustrated they are giving problems in 4 months.

Though this says these are Spot bulbs, they are not. They are Flood. The package shown is what you'll get and it says Flood.

I have tried many different LED lights, though only a few of the GU10 variety. Have been running 6 of these and the 6W version in our kitchen for several months now, and we absolutely love them. Excellent light, bright, good color rendition. We are not using them on a dimmer. The energy consumed, and heat produced, by halogen spots has always precluded my installing that type of lighting, so I'm really enjoying having this alternative.

Color temperature similar with that of a normal halogen. Great intensity as well; just a tad lower that that of a halogen, but not bad at all.

I purchased this to replace a halogen bulb. 4 watts versus 50. It should pay for itself in 2 and 1/2 years. The light is bright white. The bulb is dimmable. Very little heat vs Halogen. I would recommend
