The lens/light bulb fall out with the slightest impact. Not at all appropriate for kids who tend to be rough on things. Plus it takes 4 AA which makes it darn heavy! You are better off buying an adult version.

I purchased 3 for my granddaughters ages 4, 9 and 11...big hit Christmas morning!! Kid friendly. Lightweight. Plenty of light from the lamp. The older two wore them throughout the day on and off.

The price was right. Some of the others were costly and I felt too heavy for their heads. All in all very satisfied with product.
