I bought these lights from Amazon on the recommendation of a friend, but was a bit taken back by their small size. I have been used to much bigger flood lights. I intended to use them to light my large deck from a tree that grows through the middle. I didn't think that these small lights would do the job. As soon as I plugged one in to test it out, I realized why my friend had recommended them! It is really hard to believe that these lights use only 10 watts of power! They will light my 20 X 36 foot deck quite brightly, and save me a ton on the power bill!

I needed a work light and really didn't like using my 500 watt monster (it was dangerously hot and heated the whole room I was working in).

I didn't expect much with this purchase. When rec'd I was surprised at how small this light was. Plugged it in and was pleased to see that for 10 watts it was surprisingly bright. It's not as bright as my other work light but it does the trick. I'll be buying one or two more. It's very well made & how can you go wrong for the price, even the big box stores don't have anything like this.

Just got the light in the mail today. Went into a large room, plugged the light in and turned off the lights. This little light throws off a nice cast of light.... will be perfect for my use, not overly bright but enough of a cast of dim light to see walls. Going to kinda use it as a night light... I want to illuminate about 25' of a 50' aisle in my horse stable and cast just a bit of light into the two 10 x 20 stalls on either side of the aisle. Can't wait to get it to the stable tonight and give it a try. Gosh, if it makes it anywhere to the 50,000 hours as stated, this will last me near 17 years!

ETA: quick update. Used it last night... I have to fasten the bracket permanently, but to give it a try I just hung it up on a nail. It throws more than enough light... I had to tilt it down towards the floor a bit, otherwise it was blinding when I looked towards the end of the aisle where I had it mounted. I left it on overnight, so it was on about 9 hours and felt the back casing this morning to see if it was hot.... it was warm, but certainly not hot. One thing to note, it is not UL listed (if that is a concern to anyone).... I would have preferred a UL listed one (and always prefer to buy American made), but I couldn't find one that was UL listed or made in American with the 'plug n play' cord (AC cord) anywhere.
