We received this as a gift, and didn't think much of it at first. However, it really exceeded my expectations! It projects a nice field of "stars" on the ceiling in a dark room and creates just enough ambient light in the room for my little one. He loves it. Every night before bed he likes to cycle through the different color stars by pressing the touch-sensitive area on the beetle's back and shine the stars on the ceiling, wall, and everywhere else.

Gave this light to my 5 yr old and 2 yr old grandchildren as a gift...they love it! They will not leave it in the bedroom...they carry it all over the house...thanks for a great idea!!!!!! My 20 yr old niece wants one now.....

My daughter loves this night light. She always wants to see the moon. I don't use it as a night light just for her to see the moon and stars because it turns off after 45 minutes.

My Grandson has THREE of these, one for his bed at home and one at my house for when he spends the night and one for our trailer for camping! He especially loves the 4th selection which changes colors about every 5 seconds. He has a ball moving the light around and watching the stars and moon move across the ceiling! This and a sound machine and he's asleep in about 5 minutes!

Very very durable, which for a 4 year old is a must!!! She loves it can't wait for me to close her door at night so she can see the stars all over her room, and she used to be scared of having the door closed. I was very very happy with this purchase.
