I'm a bit of a flashlight junkie. I'm not going to go into lumens or compare this to that. I have other flashlights that use the XML-T6 chips and they're great. So put 7 of those bad boys in 1 flashlight and you got one amazingly super bright light!! I live on 5 acres and just wasn't satisfied with my others so I purchased this. Now I can light up anything! It's like a million candle power spotlight. Which I do want to compare it to. I use the 26650 batteries for the extra capacity. Not sure how long they last yet. I initially tried it with 2 of the 18650's that I already had and it burned through them, being fully charged, in about 10-15 minutes. Hey, horsepower requires fuel. I'll be ordering more cells in the near future. When only using 2 cells the light isn't large, the 3rd cell makes it comparable to the old 3 cell maglights we all use to have albeit a bit thinner. So far I'm very happy with this unit!
