This adapter even came with its own extension cord. I've never seen anything like that. It works great! The additional cord prevents me from needing to use a regular, bulky ext. cord what a fantastic idea!

I'm sorry I bought this, because the Beam N Read LED Hands Free Light is great with just the batteries. I've been using it for several weeks and have yet to need to change batteries. The cord of the adapter just gets in the way.
