All four units work flawlessly.
The light output is excellent, and the lag time for the sensor is very short considering it's a contact closure instead of a solid state switch.
I aligned the fixture so the sensor was closer to the closet door to give the sensor an unimpeded line of sight (If the sensor were toward the rear of the closet, the lamp and lens may block the sensor).

I've never been much of an electrical buff, but i got one of these and gave it a go. I uploaded a picture before and after if you want to look at it.http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-media/product-gallery/B0040718RS/
Just wanted to say it definitely works, i have it in my closet and it immediately turns on when i start to open the door. Even if i leave the door cracked open an inch the light will turn on when i walk by. I was really happy after it was installed and powered up. It took much less time than i expected, and the result is far beyond the experience of pulling a stupid string tied to a chain... (If i was a comedian, i would insert a joke about living in the future with auto-lights....)
Here are the items i was deciding between:
Leviton CFL Lampholder with Motion Sensor Switch
Leviton CFL Lampholder with Pull Chain Switch
Leviton CFL Lampholder, No Switch, Must Use Regular Light Switch(electricians call this KEYLESS)

I really like these. Easy to install. Lots of light. Look decent. My problem is that the sensors don't always work very well and I'm not sure why. I have a few of them bought at different times and they all have the same problem. Sometimes you can stand right next to the bloody things and wave your arms up and down, jump around, etc and they won't turn on. You can even see the green light for the sensor registering your movement so I know it's 'seeing' me. But the light won't turn on. I've sometimes done this for literally 30 seconds. It's very weird and annoying and makes them untrustworthy which is unfortunate. I would say it happens about 30% of the time. And other times the delay for it seeing me and turning on the light is a bit too long...maybe 5 seconds, which is a lot when you are walking toward it in the dark. I wish there was a sensitivity adjustment or something (and a time-on adjustment) but there is nothing, just wire it in and that's all you get. Otherwise, great lights for basements, laundry rooms, closets, garages, etc where a switch is just a pain.Honest reviews on Leviton 9863-OCC 13-Watt Compact Fluorescent Lampholder
