I'm not sure if I got a lemon, but the bulb wont turn on by itself. When I flick the switch on my lamp it starts to flicker on and off and will do that until I touch it. As soon as i touch it, it immediately turns on and stays on.

I use it for my desk lamp, so it would be a much more of a hassle for me to return it, than to just touch it every time.

I bought this bulb for my Eclipse 12 aquarium. It replaces the original 5000k bulb. Huge difference with 6500k light source, much more like natural daylight. It works so well that I am ordering another to use when the first burns out. Excellent purchase.

I bought two of these and both were not working correctly. One just kept flickering and would not stay on. The other just separated at the base as soon as I pressed them into my light fixture.

Thanks to Amazon, am returning both.
