This adapter works fine for converting gu10 outlets, which my landlord saw fit to put randomly in outlets around my apartment. The problem is that the size of the adapter makes the flood lights stick way out from their base and the strain makes them hang weird. They seem like they're not entirely secure.

That's not a fault of this product, it's just the nature of what you're going to get when you join gu10 to e27. Not much to do about it. That may not be a problem in your particular situation, but for me it's a deal breaker. Consider where your light bulb is going to end up sitting when using this adapter.

I bought 3 of these adapters and they are well made but are just a little too long for my fixtures. I believe they add 1-1/2" to the bulb length. I was considering redesigning the fixture socket to get the original socket out of the way, but I haven't yet.

The price was great and the quality and delivery was excellent.
