It's dim so that eliminated it from use on the house, but the chicken coop would be ok. It doesn't cut off though, works during the day too, then the energy is gone at night when you need it most.
The seller however was great, also ordered a different light from them too, and that light is ok. I give the seller 5 stars.THIS PRODUCTS WORKS REALLY GREAT. GOOD PRICE, QUICK SHIP. VERY PLEASED. WOULD RECOMMEND AND BUY AGAIN FROM VENDER.
