These replaced 50 watt Halogens over my desk and they are noticeably dimmer. The color is kind of an off-white creme or beige even. My walls are beige so they seem to match. I feel that these are more like 40 watt equivalent, but still the brightest I could find. They are sufficient, but I want to replace them when I find brighter ones at an affordable price.

I purchased one of those bulbs to try it out. So far it's the best compare to 3 others that I bought on Amazon. It provides a nice bright light and is perfectly dimmable! Great product: will buy more to replace my halogen bulbs!

I beg to differ. I installed 5 of them on my track light and they dimmed but would not shut off and since my husband is an electrician, he knows if they flutter when you go to shut off led lights or stay lightly lit then they are NOT dimmable. Waste of ordering these bulbs.The only thing I liked was that they were white light instead of that yellowish glow that halogens give off. Brighter but not dimmable like they say and if it was one, I would have chalked it off as a defect, but five, I think not. Returned right away. Very disappointed in misleading product description. Amazon needs to have vendor change that ASAP.

I already have 3" spot lights installed in my kitchen. I decided to replace one of their halogen bulbs by this GU10 led bulb. It ended up being a great replacement! The lighting is not too white (like other led bulbs I tried before) and it perfectly works with my dimmer. I will deploy those for the rest of my kitchen. Hopefully they will last!
