These work well. Am using for night lights in children's bedrooms and a hallway night light.

You do need fairly intense external light to get them to turn themselves off but if they stay on no big deal as very small wattage used.

For the price these are great! These nightlights work exactly as you would expect a nightlight to work. I am only using one of them currently in my 6X6 bathroom to see at night and it puts out plenty of light to see to use the restroom but not so much that it is blinding. They light up bright white so they might not work as well for a bedroom. Unlike what others say about the photocell, it works fine I only have a tiny window facing North so the sun doesn't turn it off but the bathroom lights do turn it off so it works fine.

I have a small baby and wanted a light for night time tgat was enough for me to change her but not too much that it,d wake her. These work well.
