I was disappointed and am returning this lamp. I needed something that put our at least 800 lumens. Though this product is rated at 800 lumens, I thought it was over-rated.

I was confused by the description: 3x4 watts = 12 watts, right? How did they get 7 watts? In any case, they appear to be as bright or brighter than the 50W equivalent CFL's I've been using in my kitchen track lights. They appear to be extremely well made and attractive. The color is just what I wanted -very white. At first I was disappointed because they didn't seem as bright, but then I added a socket extender so that the light was not sunk back in the fixture. That fixed the problem completely -of course I had to buy a $5+ extender for each bulb. I'll definitely order more.
