Very bright, also requires a huge heat sink........get very hot over 9 volts.
From a car battery 12 volts, which is actually 13.5, this would burn up in a few seconds, with out a resister.
One should use a current limiter, but you can get by with a resistor. Please use at least a 5 OHM, 10 WATT Resister.
I use a 10 OHM, 25 Watt resister, sold here on Amazon, with a huge heat sink.
If you do not understand, electronics, please ask someone with knowledge, and you could hurt yourself, or your car.
As for being bright, it is blinding to look at.
