These measure 2 1/2" long and 1 7/8" wide in the front. I think the claim that they are equivalent to a 60 watt bulb is accurate. They give a focused bright white light and work well for my closeup uses: crafts and sewing. I also used one in my china cabinet. It makes everything more dazzling due to the color spectrum of 6000K. The best part is that there is no heat. We will have to see how long they last.
I am not sure this would generate enough light in a ceiling can fixture, especially at 10-12 feet up.
