Great product.

Pros: The colors are fantastic. Keep in mind this DOES NOT cover your whole ceiling. It covers only half of it. You will need to move the projector around to get the right view you want.

The colors and pattern are awesome! I also like that you can choose a standard color, or you can keep it on the multi-color setting.

It will turn off after an hour (in case you forget to do so if you fall asleep) It runs by battery as well as power cord.

Cons: Light does not cover the whole ceiling. And the sound from the speaker is not good.

All around great product to have and chill out to.

There were such mixed reviews for this product all over Amazon, but it arrived in great condition and works great. The light covers most of my large room. It might go just a liiiiittle too fast, but otherwise is an awesome purchase.

This thing just went on my wishlist. I borrowed one to use on my night run at a Ragnar Relay last summer, and it just lit up the night, so much so that I had to look away from reflective road signs to keep from getting blinded. They're not much heavier than a Petzl or Black Diamond headlamp of the same style (external battery), and the strap is comfy. The only downside is they're very expensive. But I'd say they're worth it.

I was looking for a way to light up a very large oil painting over my cabin's fireplace. The painting is tall (4'x 5') so any over-the-artwork lighting option would probably create a glare even if it was positioned correctly because of a loft nearby and because of the height requirment of where it would need to go (~13 ft up the wall). Over-art light options always get crooked when you dust them and their cords also are unsightly. If it was battery over-art version I'd never be able to replace them... In my cabin's vaulted ceiling there wasn't any way to add a ceiling spot light nor wanted to spend that kind of money. I wanted something that would feature the art and not distract from it. So I research for Lodge type of art lighting options...and this is the only one I found. All other would require being hand painted dark brown (black would not have looked good either). So that left the option of underlighting the artwork and finding something brown or paintable. I looked at battery operated underlights but my cabin is next to a huge hydro-electric plant so plug with clean energy in was preferred over batteries for multiple reason including the amount of light output needed. When I found this mantel lamp and realized it was electrical, came in bronze (which is a very dark brown/black), wide with two bulbs, and from a reputable manufacturer -House of Troy I was sold. BUT it was out of my price range... then found a 'used' lamp option !!! After placing under my artwork and seeing it magically disappear into the mantel below the art (because it is dark and the cord is dark) and beautifully light up the art - I can't say enough about how stunning it is. It completes my cabin's greatroom and everyone who has come over oohs and aaahs over it and the way it beautifully lights up the art. The long cord makes it simple to plug into a floor outlet by my fireplace. I'm not tall enough to reach that part of my(high) mantel where the lamp's inline switch is so I simply unplug it to turn it off. It requires two lightbulbs so check which ones it needs and have them read if you purchase it. The bulbs are easy to find and not expensive. Now that I have it in place and love it I recommend it highly even if it is over your budget. If you have beautiful artwork you won't ever regret spending the money for such a beautiful, heavy, well made lamp. The vendor shipped it out quickly and I am a very VERY satisfied customer. It does put out a good bit of heat so I only use it when I'm having company over or am enjoying the room. I've been enjoying the lamp now for two months and feel very lucky I found it. And btw please support your local artists!

However its not the brightest picture light. I've got it over a pretty large framed poster and it lights about 2/3 of it...good enough for me but definitely not up to gallery standards at all.

Maybe better for a smaller piece.

I've been looking for a very long time for a cordless picture light one that did not cost in the 3 figures. I read all the reviews here and at another retailer so I did not purchase 2 of these without research still took a chance on this Rite Lite LPL602G.

First the good things: it is light to handle, very easy to install (even has its own levelor and template for the screws), looks great on the wall, and I like that it has a dimmer feature to make the light less glare-y.

The bad things: boy, this light really looks cheap!!! I can't stress that enough. I positioned it so only the light rod and the arch show when I hung my picture. The arch looks fine (it is polished brass-like), but the rod is a cheap, funky, plastic and it looks awful. I thought of returning them, but decided that from far away, they'll suffice.

More bad things: you need to recruit a Marine to open the packaging. What in the world would make a company seal the item this way??? There are 150 layers of plastic surrounding the light and the outside cardboard packaging is glued with some kind of Star Trek Superglue (impossible to rip and extremely hard to cut).

My plan was to use both lights in my hallway, but that would mean that people can get a close look at the light (ugh!), so I will use them instead in my bedroom over a couple of pictures in the corner. From far away (very far away) you can't see the cheapness of the light.

Lastly, the LED lighting casts a blue-ish/white light which I knew about from the reviews I read but if you think that this light will provide ambient light to the entire picture it won't UNLESS you turn the lights around in which case, you will go blind since the LEDs will be starring at you or the wall behind you.

At this point, I will gladly pay the money for a beautiful, cordless picture light.

One more thing and that is, I like nice things but am also very cost conscious so I strive to find items for my home that look like higher priced things but at a much lower cost. I say that to let those know who read this review that since I paid a very low price for these lights, I did lower my expectations and thought that they would work for me. But honestly, they are really bad.

Pro's The light worked fine, it installed easy enough.

Con's The light doesn't cast very far we have a set of three pictures hung on the wall, only the top frame is lit well enough it's about 12 inches high. The color of the plastic is poor and reminds me of a cheap dollar store toy. I opened the package and painted all the plastic parts flat black, left the brass goose neck intact.

Installation was a snap! Removed the original doorbell, hooked up the two wires, screwed it in place and I was done.

It lights up very well and the key finder light that is adjustable in direction is pretty handy.

However there are a few issues I do have.

First is that the doorbell is made out of plastic, not metal. So how it will hold up to the weather is suspect.

Second is that the LED is a orangey yellow color and not white or blue (both of which would look a million times better). I might take it apart and replace the LED though (void any type of warranty it might have LOL).

So overall it's a nice and cheap replacement doorbell.

Pros:

Cheap.

Installation wasn't hard at all (but then again I wasn't expecting a low voltage doorbell to be much of a challenge).

Looks nice.

Cons:

Made in China.

100% plastic, really would have preferred a metal housing.

Orange/yellow LED looks absolutely ugly. They should have used a white one instead.

This doorbell comes with two very small, short screws. I have no idea what the company intends this to be secured to. They are completely unacceptable to mount this doorbell to any exterior surface. I had a really hard time finding a way to install this doorbell. I had to get my own screws from the hardware store that were narrow enough to fit in the holes but long enough to actually screw into something. it looks terrible because they don't match at all the decorative look and finish that was intended for this doorbell.

We have a couple dozen outdoor dusk-till-dawn mercury vapor lamps (at least) around our property, and as with any bulb over time they go out. I ordered these because they were cheaper than at the local store, and also had the quantity I needed.

Amazon packs these exceptionally well, I had no damaged (broken) bulbs. However, about 1-in-10 of the bulbs were DOA, but you could tell it was more a manufacturing defect than a shipping problem. i.e. one of the lead wires in the bulb was not welded to complete the circuit.

+1 to Amazon for the great RMA process. It didn't cost me anything to ship it back (you print out a pre-paid label) and they over-nighted the replacement (even though they didn't have to).

This is a very cheap product.

My main problems with it is the fact that not only the outlet adapter is HUGE, it will take most of the space in your wall outlet. But also, the remote control range is just minimal. From my bed, I'm 8 feet from the wall where the plug is located. The remote does not work. I almost have to get up (which voids the purpose of having this product), to turn it off.

I think you will find better products, skip this one if you can.

I first bought the Stanley 31164 which is the same concept, a handheld remote and 3 wall outlet receivers. unfortunately it was defective and I had to return it. I decided to try this Clearmax unit instead.

It came in an unmarked white box devoid of instructions, battery, warranty or contact information. None of the components have any model number or electrical specifications printed or embossed on them. The only information anywhere to be found is the name Clearmax on the product. They're not UL listed (or at least there's nothing on them saying that).

The receiver units are HUGE (much bigger than the Stanley's) and project out from the wall 2 1/4", making it hard to tuck them behind furniture. The battery compartment was too tight for my battery and I had to force it in.

After it was all hooked up, I was pleased to find that it works fine and the range is good and will reach between rooms.

Unlike the Stanley's remote, the Clearmax remote unit has no key ring, is chunky in a pocket, and has a concave back making it really hard to affix to a wall or desk. On the plus side, the remote has a built-in antenna. The Stanley has a long, telescoping radio antenna that needs to be extended for it to have range.

One A23 sized battery is required for the remote (not included).

Spend A Few Dollars More For The Better Ones! I ALMOST left a very good review for these very cheaply made outlets. First off I thought maybe all the Negative Reviews (And I am sure they are) was because these come with NO BATTERY, which for the price of them I knew and I I ordered a 5 pack of the N type batteries for $2.00 with Free Ship (No Problem as I have 2 other remotes that use that same weird short almost AA size, but way shorter). Anyways, I own a 2-Pack System Remote/Outlet that I have had for about 2 years now and they work GREAT!! I figured they were made by the same company because they are very similar. THEY ARE NOT!! They are Large, but I also knew that and bought 2-packs of 5 (a 5-pack is $8.50 and sold by Amazon as well), 1ft. extension cords as to allow room for any and all other outlets. My #2 unit, unfortunately would turn ON, but not OFF defeating the purpose of the units. So I paid and got the 5-pack outlets for $25 (Also sold by Amazon Exclusively). The New ones I recieved are of the much Higher Quality as my other ones I have. And these El Cheapo's are NOT UL Listed!! As someone else pointed out in another review.

This flameless candle was a wonderful decoration for Christmas. The batteries haven't had to be changed yet and you can set it to automatically go on each night. My only complaint is that there really isn't a cinnamon scent. It doesn't smell at all, pleasant or unpleasant.

The Pelican PM6 3320 flashlight worked great when it worked. The battery life in this product is extremly short. I bought a new battery for a weekend camping trip, used the light on & off (not extensively) throughout. Got home, placed it on my desk & 2 weeks later (with no use) it is 100% dead. It's almost as if the battery is always being drawn from, even while off. I would not have written this review except this is the second time this has happened since I bought this item. These are great flashlights. My Company issued them to us when we deployed to Iraq. Its compact, Bright, easy to use, durable and fits comfortably when you need both of your hands, and your mouth is all you have left.
