We just remodeled our kitchen last June and I searched and researched under cabinet lighting.

I finally decided on these GE LED linkable lights.

I bought one for each cabinet, That is 8 in total. 6 with 3 LED's one with 2 LED's and one with 4 LED's.

They have been on continuously now for 11 months and I totally love them.

We leave them on all day long since we did not put in a skylight and then we leave them on at night too.

They have a very white light that is like sunlight and they are bright.

We bought 4 of the hard wire kit GE 24772 Junction Box so all the under counter lights could be on one wall switch.

I love the 3000K color.

Highly Recommended.

They come with a standard plug in the wall cord and also with a special cord to link to another light.

The screws that hold the lights to the cabinet do not secure the light that well if they are not exactly the right height. I fixed the ocassional looseness of the fixture with a small piece of 3m double stick tape.3M Scotch Mounting Tape, .5-Inch by 75-Inch (110)

To keep the wires up and out of the way between the fixuures I used under counter wire clips like Command Small Cord Clips, 8-Clip

Measure you under counter distances and add an inch for the cord.

I put a 2 light one at a diagonal on my smallest cabinet and it looks perfect like the ones mounted straight.

I mounted them about 3" from the front edge of the cabinet

What great lights! I installed two (using the supplied link) above my kitchen sink and am amazed by the light quality and quantity. The light is warm in hue and the uniformity of the light across the spread is excellent. Installation was a little tedious because of the location--not the fixtures. Mounting the support screws must be exact, i.e., 19 1/8" apart (for the 4 LED fixture) with no more than about 1/16" error. Allow about 1 3/8" on each side for width. Using only about 5 watts per unit, I'll save the price of the fixtures in a year over incandescents and about three years over flourescents. I'm sold on these GEs and recently put one over my stove and one over my counter.
