I just installed the SoLite in my Tuffy Shed. It works great!

Installation took about 5 minutes.

I can now close the Tuffy Shed door to work inside in the daytime.

And it is incredibly bright at night as well, illuminating the

entire 8x12 space.

I always love it when a product works as advertised. Angaza's product description was complete and accurate (a pleasant surprise because many are so overblown.) It works straight out of the box. We have many brief power outages so its a great back up light, easily recharged with the solar panel. If you live in flood zones or suffer long power outages, this should absolutely be in your emergency preparedness kit.

I was given the Solite as a gift and I am now going to purchase one to give as a gift to my son. This rugged light is currently being used to provide lighting in my backyard shed. The light worked right out of the box. It works well although the solar panel does not have a really good angle to the sun where I have it on the shed's roof. I intend to take the light with me on campouts this summer. We have a pop-up tent trailer and camp where there are no electrical hook ups. We also lose power to our home fairly often during windstorms. I will be happy to have this lighting to use for those times as well.

I am very happy with the purchase, it provides me with back up lighting when the house loses electrical power during storms, I put a small hook in the ceiling and I hang the light. I am planning to take another when I go on vacation. It is great for reading at night.

This is my first Amazon review and I was inspired to write because I love this light so much! I live in a backyard apartment and I needed a bright light that I could switch on to find my door (and feel safe) when I came home late. I found out about Angaza's solar light through a friend, who mentioned that it was developed out of a Stanford University design school course and was super bright despite its conveniently compact size. Apparently, it was also designed specifically to be super durable which was great for me because I don't want to have to worry about service or replacements. It's been fantastic. It was completely usable out of the box, and after visiting Angaza's website, I now know that my purchase is benefiting a group that is working to bring renewable energy to Africa. I would definitely recommend the SoLite to anyone who wants a terrific product that also benefits a great cause!
