I was shocked at how powerful and enduring this little light was. I had bought a similar light, but it used the batteries up in no time, and it cost 11-12 dollars to put in new ones. I specifically sought out this light because of its being rechargeable. My wife thought I was nuts paying the price that I did for a little light, but its worth every penny. I am so in love with it that I take it out for walks with my dogs, and on my adventures into the everglades at night. This light IS noticeably more powerful than a 3 d cell maglight, and so much smaller and lighter. The charge last quite some time, and using it as a primary light, I have never run it down yet. Excellent product.
