We just moved into a new home, and I was unfamiliar with this type of bulb base. I was not happy with either the blue light of 4000K or the luminousity that was generated by the bulbs that were installed, so I decided to change them from 24 watt to 32 watt. What I wanted was not available locally so I purchased them on Amazon.
Removing the old bulbs, I broke the first one at the base, as I thought they had a screw base... Oh, well. This new bulb, at 3000K, has a much warmer light than the 4000K, not as yellow as the 2700, but definitely in the same range. They are brighter, and they do the trick. Kudos to the shipper, as they were well-protected on their journey and arrived in excellent condition.

Good product which was shipped promptly and works as expected. The base matched the 26 watt bulb it replaced and it does produce notably more light and works well in the same fixtures. Since I've just installed it, I can't comment on the bulb's life.
