I love this flashlight for a couple reasons. As a backup, or emergency light it serves a couple great functions. It puts out a pretty decent amount of light, especially for a single AA battery. With a single AA battery you can always find one laying around. No matter how low the battery is it still puts out a little light. In an emergency, even a near dead battery will still give off a low usable light that seems to go on forever. At first I wasn't crazy about the switch, but then I realized when holding it, simply squeezing your hand has a neat way of always finding the switch and turning it on. Another thing I like about this flashlight is the comfort of holding it in my mouth. I have a tendency to wanna hold flashlights in my mouth while working on projects. Whether its climbing around in the attic, working on the car, or gathering wood in the dark while camping, I always seem to need to use both hands. The plastic and rubber grip makes this comfortable. I have a couple of these lights around, and although they are pretty beat up they have gotten tons of use, and still continue to work. I tend to use old dead batteries in them just because I can, but occasionally I'l put in a new, or close to new battery and am always happy with the light if I need it. I have a couple other high output flashlights that use a single AA or AAA battery that give off much more light, but they go dead fairly quick with continued use. This thing just seems to run for ever. As a matter of fact you tend to not notice it going dim because it does so very gradually over a very long time. So if your looking for a flood light, this isn't it, but as an everyday practical, backup, or emergency light it's great!

I hate the button on the end of a flashlight. This one works on off with my thumb so I can point, light and shut back off.The light is light weight uses ONE AA battery and does not have beam focus.
It does not roll away easily. Good for a suitcase and night stand.
I actually wish it used 2 AA instead. It seems like there is room and it would throw more light.
Of course beam focus is always better but this one does not have it.
It throws good light but not real far or super bright.

Bought one from Walmart returned it the nextday. Light output on the lowside,it felt cheaplly made. On of switch in akward place. Rubber ends catch pockets when removing for use.
