I found that this replacment bulb is not the same as the original. The bulb housing is smaller and covered when compared to the original part. This is good because the halogen lamp itself is protected from human touch. However, the pins are somewhat closer together which can make installation of the replacement difficult. Be careful when installing it to avoid breaking it.

Other than that, it works fine.
