This 12 V MR16 light is well designed. A true LED light source. Heat sink for removing heat from LEDs. Current regulator power supply. (current remains about the same as input voltage varies). Plenty of light output. Medium beam width.

Spec is 4 watts at 12 volts (485 mA).

My bench test showed it only uses 120 mA at 12 volts which is about 1.5 watts (not 4 watts).

Bought these at the local store (only $19.95 at Loews). Like it very much in term of brightness and reliability, ended up replacing all my MR16 bulbs inside and outside (landscape) the house (total of 22 bulbs). Had a couple of the Phillips MR16 LED bulb but those are more expensive and not even as bright compared to these FEIT bulbs

I was really skeptical of these. I tried one to replace a blown 20W Halogen unit in our cable light set.

Good build quality. Hopefully it will last as long as they say.

I'm going back to the store (Lowes) and getting 5 more to replace the existing halogen units. These are truly bright, as bright as the 20W units they replace.

Money savings comes in two ways from these 1 they use less (1/4!) the wattage/energy of the other units and two they will reduce my summer time A/C costs. Running 7 20W halogen bulbs costs a lot.

If these last for 1 year they will have paid for themselves!

I estimate i'll save about $380 annually, net of the cost of these, by installing 2 of them in outside light locations that come on at dusk and off at dawn.

Bear in mind they are not dimmable so probably constraining for inside use in my case

they give off sufficient light...no major visible reduction in lumens compared to the 50w halogens i had in there before
