This RAB light is only 26 watts but equal to a 70 watt metal halide. When mounted to the wall it is tipped slightly upward in order to shine outward, but not too much. It works real well for lighting up your entry area and about 50 ft of yard area. (see pictures) 50,000 hour life which is equal to over 15 years left on 24/7. Solid built, easy to mount with two different mounting options,(with or without backplate) no lightbulbs to replace, and it looks great. Amazon price is about 15% cheaper that my local electric supply. RAB are the best outdoor lights that I have ever used. I have 2 other RAB LED outdoor lights (RAB FFLED18/PC) and they are just as nice. Get the right light for your particular situation. They are expensive but well worth it.
