I was amazingly surprised at how bright this light-weight unit is. The LED's focus into a circular pattern that is more like a flashlight than a floodlight. It's a shame there is not a selectable option on the pattern -but it is wide enough of a focal area that it gives some "flood effect". Overall it is very useable. I haven't had it long enough to determine its physical durability or battery life (do note that the unit uses replaceable AA batteries and is not a rechargeable unit, but that can be solved by using rechargeable AA batteries). So far I am well pleased, and considering ordering a couple more of them to have in the vehicles and tool box.

This is absolutely the best LED Work Light/Trouble Light that I have found yet. I use mine all the time...it's lightweight, cord free, but most of all...it puts out a brilliant white LED beam to cover your work area. I love mine and I expect you will, too!
