I just love this little gadget. I am an avid reader, and usually read into the night while my hubby is sleeping. I have used a dozen different booklights over the years, but none have been satisfactory in every way. This particular booklight is! Whomever came up with this idea is a genius. It is hands-free and does not attach to the book itself. I hang the light around my neck, and the light is bright enough to read both pages (left and right side) without adjusting the position of the light or bothering my husband. My daughter loves it, too, so I just purchased one for her. It comes in lots of pretty colors. My light is purple, and hers is lime green.

It's bright and can get into the smallest corners. Great when working on electronics or when doing construction type work in dark corners. It stands a bit wobbly but so you have to mess with it a while to get it to not fall over and that would have been nice to know but it's handy and cheap and it's even cute! :)

I purchased this as a replacement booklight. I tried to use it for that one time, it was awkward to get into position and too heavy for paperback books. However I now use this light all around the house for other random tasks and chores where having to hold a flashlight would be cumbersome. I recommend this light but not as a book light.

This year we sent several small semi-related gifts to our grandson for his seventh birthday. This cute little light was absolutely his favorite. It's bright enough for reading in bed, but focused enough that he can use it to read his (new) compass when he's checking out the constellations in his (new) book with his (new) binoculars. He has the orange one, so (he hopes) he won't lose it when they go on their annual camping trip. So far, he's wound it around just about everything in the house except his little sister.
